From July 15th to September 15th, our hours will be from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM. The last visit will be at 4:15 PM.

Due to operational access reasons, entry to this center is on a first-come, first-served basis, even if you have purchased a ticket online. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Important Information

 

  • Ticket valid for 3 months from the date of issuance.
  • Single-use ticket.
  • It´s necessary to have the QR code downloaded on your device, as the signal in the Montañas del Fuego area is weak.
  • It's not necessary to print the ticket. You can show the QR code from your device at the center's ticket office.
  • No prior reservation for day and time is required
  • Las Montañas del Fuego are located in a Protected National Park. It is strictly forbidden to disembark from the vehicle from El Taro until reaching the parking lot at Islote de Hilario.
  • Access for pets is not allowed except for assistance dogs in the terms reflected by Law 3/2017, of April 26, on assistance dogs for people with disabilities in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

 

What to see

 

  • Timanfaya National Park was declared a National Park in 1974. As such, it is subject to strict conservation and protection measures to preserve its unique and fragile environment. Despite its popularity, the park promotes sustainable and responsible tourism to minimize the environmental impact of visitors.
  • The Route of the Volcanoes is conducted on the park's bus, departing from Islote del Hilario. Along the route, you will immerse yourself in a unique lunar landscape characterized by solidified lava fields, volcanic cones, and craters.
  • Geothermal demonstrations. During these demonstrations, underground heat is harnessed to create impressive displays involving water and steam.

Reduced Rates

 

  • People with disabilities: €14,00 (Exclusive sale at the center's ticket office). To access this rate, it is necessary to present valid documentation certifying the degree of disability, along with the corresponding personal documentation.
  • Children with disabilities: €7.00
  • Residents of Lanzarote: Special rate available exclusively at each center's ticket office with the corresponding accreditation.

  • Required Documentation: DNI/NIE in physical format for residents. Passport or identity document in physical format for EU/Schengen citizens.

  • No Photo Supplement: If the official document does not include a photo, present an additional official document in physical format to verify identity.

  • Proof of Address: Present a valid certificate of residency if the address does not appear on the identity document.

  • Children under 14: A certificate of residency is required if they do not have a DNI.

  • Without Valid Documentation: The ticket will be invalidated without refund and a general admission ticket will need to be purchased.

IMPORTANT before purchase: When buying on our website, you will receive a single QR code for all tickets. All customers must enter together. If you plan to access at different times, please make separate purchases.

Due to the high influx of visitors to the Fire Mountains during peak season, there may be delays at the entrance. These delays can exceed one hour at certain times, so we recommend arriving early in the morning or choosing Sunday, which tends to have lower attendance, to avoid any inconvenience.
