Explore one of Lanzarote’s most remarkable volcanic landscapes. At Montañas del Fuego, the eruptions that transformed the island left behind a landscape of craters, lava fields and volcanic formations, where intense geothermal activity can still be detected beneath the surface.

Your visit includes the Route of the Volcanoes, a bus tour through Timanfaya National Park that allows you to observe the traces left by the eruptions and learn about the geological history of the landscape. At the Islote del Hilario, geothermal demonstrations reveal the high temperatures that can still be found just a few metres below the surface.

Plan your visit

• Access to Montañas del Fuego is organised into specific time slots. When purchasing your ticket online, you must select an admission time from the available options, subject to daily capacity.
   
• The entrance checkpoint is located on the LZ-602 road, between Yaiza and Tinajo. To reach the entrance directly, use these coordinates: 29.010043, -13.734568.
   
• The ticket is valid exclusively for the selected date and time. Changes and refunds are not permitted.
   
• There is no need to print your ticket: simply show the QR code on your mobile device.
   
• Please arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes before your reserved time to validate your ticket and ensure a smooth entry. Please note that once your reserved time has passed, we cannot guarantee admission.
   
• From the El Taro entrance to the Islote del Hilario, remain inside your vehicle. Stopping or getting out of your vehicle within the National Park is not permitted.
   
• The ground reaches very high temperatures in certain areas. Always remain within the designated areas and follow our staff’s instructions.
   
• During the Route of the Volcanoes, you must remain on the bus throughout the entire route, both for your safety and to help protect this fragile environment.
   
• Pets are not permitted, with the exception of accredited assistance dogs, in accordance with Law 3/2017 of 26 April.
   
• At the Islote del Hilario, you will find free parking and free Wi-Fi.

During your visit

• The visit includes the Route of the Volcanoes, an approximately 35-minute bus tour departing from the Islote del Hilario and travelling through a landscape of lava, craters and volcanoes. Passengers are not allowed to leave the bus during the tour.
   
• At the Islote del Hilario, you can attend the geothermal demonstrations, which reveal the high temperatures that can still be found just a few metres below the surface.
   
• Explore the designated areas of the Islote del Hilario and enjoy the panoramic views of Timanfaya’s volcanic landscape. Follow the staff’s instructions at all times and remain within the authorised areas.
   
• If you visit Timanfaya around lunchtime, you can complete your experience at the El Diablo Restaurant, where you can try dishes grilled using the volcano’s natural geothermal heat. A unique combination of gastronomy and landscape, with panoramic views of the volcanic surroundings.
   
• Before ending your visit, stop by the shop, where you will find a selection of souvenirs, crafts and products from Lanzarote.

   You must present valid official documentation confirming the degree of disability, together with the corresponding identity document. You must also provide any specific documentation required to prove eligibility for the discounted rate.
    
2. Residents of the Canary Islands and Lanzarote

• Present your physical DNI/NIE.
• EU/Schengen citizens: present your passport or identity document in physical format.
• Documents without a photograph: if the document presented does not include a photo, you must provide an additional official document in physical format to verify your identity.
• Proof of residence: if your address does not appear on your identity document, you must present a valid certificate of residence (certificado de empadronamiento).
• Children up to 13 years old: if they do not have a valid ID card (DNI), a valid certificate of residence must be presented.
