Purchasing your ticket online will help you plan your visit to Montañas del Fuego more efficiently.
Please remember to download your ticket before arriving, as mobile coverage in the area may be limited. To speed up validation and entry, arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes before your scheduled entry time.

Visits will continue to operate during the usual opening hours, subject to availability.
From June 15
Access to Montañas del Fuego will be organized through timed entry slots.
When purchasing your ticket online, you will need to select your preferred entry time in advance.
The availability of time slots will depend on demand and the site's daily capacity.
How does it work?
From June 15, access to the Fire Mountains will be managed through timed entry slots.
The process is simple:
- Select the day of your visit.
- Check the available time slots.
- Choose your preferred entry time.
- Arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes before your selected time to validate your ticket.
Before You Visit
Please keep the following in mind before your visit:
- Download your ticket or QR code before arriving and have it ready to present at the ticket office.
- Your ticket is valid only for the selected date and time and cannot be changed, exchanged, or refunded.
- Purchasing your ticket in advance helps with visit planning; however, short waiting times may still occur during peak periods.
- We recommend booking in advance, especially during periods of high demand.
What's included
The Volcano Route — A guided tour aboard the official Park bus. Departing from Islote del Hilario, you will travel through a lunar landscape of solidified lava fields, volcanic cones and craters while learning about the geological history of Lanzarote. Approximate duration: 35 minutes.
Geothermal demonstrations — At Islote del Hilario you can witness first-hand how the underground heat powers a steam geyser and is used to cook food using the earth's natural warmth.

Visit rules and guidelines
To ensure a safe and respectful experience, please observe the following rules during your visit:
- Parking area: from the entrance (El Taro) to Islote del Hilario, getting out of your vehicle is strictly prohibited for conservation reasons.
- Geothermal safety: the ground in some areas can reach extreme temperatures. Always remain within the marked areas and follow staff instructions at all times.
- During the bus tour: passengers are not permitted to leave the bus at any point along the route, for safety and conservation reasons.
- At the demonstrations: follow staff instructions at all times.
- Pets: animals are not permitted, with the exception of assistance dogs recognised under Canary Islands Regional Law 3/2017.
Proof of discounted fares
Physical supporting documentation must be presented at the ticket office. Without valid documentation, the ticket will be cancelled without refund.
People with disabilities — A current official certificate confirming the recognised degree of disability, together with a valid identity document.
Canary Islands or Lanzarote residents
- Physical ID card, NIE or passport (EU/Schengen citizens: national identity document).
- If the document does not include a photograph, a second official photo ID must be provided.
- If your address does not appear on your identity document, a current certificate of registration (empadronamiento) is required.
Children under 14 without ID — Certificate of registration (empadronamiento).
