Your adventure begins by descending the volcanic staircase into Jameo Chico, the entrance to the impressive underground tunnel. Don't forget to ask about the Tunnel of Atlantis, the underwater continuation that extends towards the sea.
Natural Underground Lake
Continue to the underground lake that is home to blind crabs, an endangered species and a symbol of the site's biodiversity. The blind crab of Jameos del Agua is a small crustacean that can grow between 2 and 3 cm. It is a unique species in the world with very special characteristics, such as its completely albino color.

Casa de los Volcanes
Conclude your visit at the Casa de los Volcanes, a 2,500 m² space spread over two floors where science, culture and technology come together to offer a deeper understanding of Lanzarote’s geology and volcanic origins.
During your visit, you can learn about the geological formation of the La Corona volcanic tube, César Manrique’s transformation of Jameos del Agua, the work carried out at the Casa de los Volcanes, and the Lanzarote and Chinijo Archipelago UNESCO Global Geopark. You will also discover “Planetary Analogues”, an exhibition exploring the similarities between Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes and Mars.

Plan your visit
- Your ticket is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and allows one admission only to Jameos del Agua.
- There is no need to print your ticket. Simply show the QR code on your mobile device when entering.
- Pets are not permitted, with the exception of assistance dogs, in accordance with Law 3/2017 of 26 April.
- During certain high-tide conditions, the water may cover part of the walkway and your feet may get wet. If this happens, you may need to remove your shoes to cross.
- Throwing coins or other objects into the water is prohibited due to the presence of protected species such as the blind crab.
- Swimming or entering the lake or swimming pool is not permitted.
- The volcanic environment is particularly fragile. To help preserve it, please do not touch the rock formations.
- Free parking for vehicles and bicycles and free Wi-Fi are available throughout the site.
During your visit
- You can take a break at the bar-cafeteria, overlooking the lake and gallery, or enjoy the culinary offering at the Jameos del Agua Restaurant, which does not accept reservations and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The visit includes the Jameos del Agua Auditorium, a unique venue that hosts different events, concerts and performances throughout the year.
- Complete your visit at the Casa de los Volcanes, a space dedicated to Lanzarote’s geology, volcanism and scientific knowledge. You can access it by purchasing the Jameos del Agua + Casa de los Volcanes combined ticket.
- Before ending your visit, stop by the shop, where you will find a selection of souvenirs and exclusive products.

1. People with disabilities
You must present valid official documentation confirming your degree of disability, together with the corresponding identity document. You must also provide any specific documentation required to prove eligibility for the discounted rate.
2. Residents of the Canary Islands and Lanzarote
- Present your physical DNI/NIE.
- EU/Schengen citizens: present your passport or identity document in physical format.
- Documents without a photograph: if your official document does not include a photo, you must also present an additional official document in physical format to verify your identity.
- Proof of residence: if your address does not appear on your identity document, you must present a valid certificate of residence (certificado de empadronamiento).
- Children up to 13 years old: if they do not have a DNI, a valid certificate of residence must be presented.

Valid supporting documentation must be presented. Otherwise, the ticket will be invalidated without refund, and a full-price ticket must be purchased.
