A journey to the center of the earth

Important Notice:

Ticket sale dates at the ticket office and online:

If you plan to visit from July 22 to July 28 (inclusive): Tickets will be sold exclusively at the center's ticket office.

If you plan to visit from July 29 onwards (inclusive): Tickets will be sold exclusively online. You must choose the day and time of your visit, based on availability.

Note on parking access and LZ-205 road: 

You can access the parking lot 45 minutes in advance and must be in the entrance queue at least 15 minutes before your entry time. The LZ-205 road is one-way in the uphill direction until September 30.

Explore the Cueva de los Verdes

Embark on a journey to the center of the earth. Enjoy an extraordinary passage through a kilometer of volcanic tunnels, part of a six-kilometer tunnel created by the lava flows from the Corona volcano. Due to the natural conditions of the cave, it maintains a temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius and is not equipped for people with reduced mobility.

Highlighted features:

The volcanic essence of the cave is felt in every corner: from traversing ancient lava channels to admiring magma stalactites and salt deposits. These formations, along with the unique colors that adorn the path, make the visit a visually striking experience.

During your tour, you will pass through the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium, which offers performances several times a year; for more information, check our event calendar.

Services:

• Parking: Free parking for vehicles and bicycles for ticket holders.
• Restrooms: Restrooms are located outside, in the parking area.
• Note on bar-cafeteria: The center does not have bar-cafeteria services.

Important Information

• Access with time slot: Once you access the parking lot, you must place yourself behind the sign with the time assigned on your ticket. This should be done at least 15 minutes before your confirmed entry time.
• Ticket validity: Single-use ticket for the purchased day and time.
• No need to print the ticket: You can show the QR code from your device.
• Access policy: Pets are not allowed, except for assistance dogs in accordance with Law 3/2017, of April 26, on assistance dogs for people with disabilities in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

IMPORTANT: Reduced Rate Accreditation

• People with disabilities: You must present current documentation certifying the degree of disability, along with corresponding personal documentation.
• Residents in the Canary Islands and Lanzarote: Required documentation:
  • Physical DNI/NIE for residents.
  • Passport or identity document in physical format for EU/Schengen citizens.
  • Complement without photo: If the official document does not include a photo, present an additional official document in physical format to verify identity.
  • Proof of residence: Present a current certificate of residence if the address does not appear on the identity document.
  • Children under 14 years: A residence certificate is required if they do not have a DNI.
  • Without valid documentation: The ticket will be invalidated without a refund, and a general ticket purchase will be required.
