Cueva de los Verdes Ticket
Galleries, folds and mineral formations preserve the traces left by the flow of lava along a visitable section of the La Corona volcanic tube. Jesús Soto’s intervention uses light to reveal the shapes, textures and depths of the rock, guiding visitors on a journey into the depths of the Earth.
Discover
Embark on a journey into the depths of the Earth. Enjoy an extraordinary journey through one kilometre of volcanic passages, part of an almost 8-kilometre-long tunnel created by lava flows from the Volcán de la Corona. Due to the cave’s natural conditions, the temperature remains at around 20°C, and the route is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
The volcanic essence of the cave can be felt at every turn: from walking through ancient lava channels to admiring magma stalactites and salt deposits. These formations, together with the unique colours that line the route, make the visit a visually striking experience.
Along the approximately one-kilometre route, you will pass through the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium, which hosts performances several times a year. For more information, please check our events calendar.
