The tour explores how the eruptions transformed the landscape and the traces that volcanic activity has left behind. A territory where geology, landscape and César Manrique’s intervention are all part of the same story.

Throughout the visit, you will learn how to interpret this volcanic environment and understand the relationship between nature and human intervention that defines Montañas del Fuego.

During your visit

Experiencia Insólita will take you into the volcanic landscape of Montañas del Fuego and give you a closer look at this remarkable environment:

• Travel along the Route of the Volcanoes by bus, accompanied by a guide, on a tour conducted in Spanish and English.
   
• Access, in a small group, areas that are restricted during the standard visit.
   
• Stop at Montaña Rajada and take a short walk to its viewpoint to contemplate the Sea of Lava.
   
• Learn about the geology and volcanic activity of Timanfaya and experience the geothermal activity of the area through the geothermal demonstrations.
   
• Visit the Tinecheide Refuge, at Islote de Hilario, a place linked to the origins of what we know today as Montañas del Fuego.
   
• Learn about César Manrique’s intervention in this landscape and its connection with El Diablo restaurant.
   
• End the experience with a tasting of local products accompanied by Lanzarote wine (not included for children aged 0 to 6).

• EU/Schengen Area citizens: present your physical passport or identity document.
• Documents without a photograph: if the document provided does not include a photograph, you must also present another official physical document that allows us to verify your identity.
• Proof of address: if your address does not appear on your identity document, you must present a valid certificate of registration (certificado de empadronamiento).
• Children up to 13 years old: if they do not have a DNI, a valid certificate of registration (certificado de empadronamiento) must be presented.

Valid supporting documentation must be presented. If the required documentation is not provided or is invalid, the reduced-rate ticket will be cancelled without refund and a full-price ticket must be purchased.
